Thank you so much Dharma Master Heng Sure …
First of all I am very grateful to DM Heng Sure for being here in Malaysia recently to give and share the Buddha Dharma with all of us during the recent 5th Buddhist Conference at Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Dharma Master, you have given the most precious gem to all of us at the conference, that is the name of the Buddha … NAMO AMITUOFO …AMITUOFO…. with this name planted in our consciousness will in the future will bring great benefit to all of us here at the conference. No doubt some of the participants were never heard of this name, or never knew this dharma door of reciting, and upholding the Buddha name will end our misery in the Samsara. We should never look down on this dharma door of upholding the Buddha name, because it will make you a BUDDHA … some might think that it is very easy to practice or some said that it is just reserved for the old folks …then that is a wrong understanding. We are not only rely on our self –power or self effort to uphold the Buddha name but we also rely on other power …that is the power of Buddha Amitabha vows to end birth and death. Finally I would like to share with all with this code from Patriarch Master Yin Guang:To be truly mindful of Buddha Amitabhaand give up attachments to the body, the false mind, and worldly affairsis great giving. To be truly mindful of Buddha Amitabhaand not have any greed, anger, and ignoranceis truly upholding precepts. To be truly mindful of Buddha Amitabhaand not be bothered by who is right or who is wrong is great tolerance to insult. To be truly mindful of Buddha Amitabhaand not be distracted by other thoughtsis great focus and diligence. To be truly mindful of Buddha Amitabhaand not have wandering thoughtsis great dhyana. To be truly mindful of Buddha Amitabhaand not be enticed by any temptationis great prajna. Try reflecting on the following: If I still have not given up the attachments to body, false mind, and worldly affairs; if greed, anger, and ignorance still arise in my mind; if I am still bothered by who is right and who is wrong; if I have not eradicated distractions from other thoughts; if I still have not ceased my wandering thoughts; and if I am still enticed by temptations; then, I am not truly mindful of Buddha Amitabha.
