The Water Bill

One day in the mail I received a disconnect notice from the water utility. It said that if the stated amount was not paid immediately, the water would be turned off. It was a notice that should have gone to my nextdoor neighbors. My neighbors are a loving, open-hearted family with 5 kids and not very much money. I paid the bill. I would do it again for the priveledge of knowing this family.
